Figs with Ricotta, honey and almonds

Close up on a fig

My parents are coming for dinner tonight. So I made up this quicky dessert.

Start with as many figs as you have people. Slice the fig into 6 sections, taking care not to cut al the way through the base. Spread the sections a little with your fingers.

Spoon some ricotta into the center (mascarpone would also be great here but I am using what I have).

Drizzle the lot with honey and scatter with toasted almonds.

This looks really elegant and it's incredibly easy.
